Dental & Vision Insurance Guidelines
Open enrollment occurs from October through December. This is the time to make sure that your health, dental and vision plan benefits are aligned with your projected needs in the coming year.
If you experience insurance loss during the year, the Chamber’s in-house brokerage can assist you in finding new coverage.
The Amherst Chamber of Commerce offers business members a broad selection of plans and has brokers on staff ready to assist you.

- Highmark Blue Edge Dental Insurance is billed & payable to Highmark BCBS of WNY
- Dental Pay Plus Dental Insurance is billed & payable to Amherst Chamber of Commerce
- Guardian Insurance is billed & payable to Guardian
- VSP Vision Insurance is billed & payable to Amherst Chamber of Commerce

United Concordia provides the provider network for Highmark Blue Edge Dental and is a separate company that administers dental benefits.

Dental Insurance: Dental Pay Plus 2026
Protect with Dental Pay Plus.
This service is billed & payable to the Amherst Chamber.
Dental & Vision Insurance: Guardian
The Amherst Chamber also offers Individual Guardian Dental and/or Vision + Hearing (powered by VSP). Guardian Individual Accident Insurance is also available. It is billed & payable online to Guardian Dental.

Vision Coverage: VSP Signature 2026
VSP Vision Care insurance reduces your costs for routine eye exams and prescription eyewear, and provides discounts on elective vision surgery such as LASIK. With VSP, you’ll receive services at rates well below walk-in prices, and you don’t even need an ID card — any VSP doctor can access your plan coverage.
