Different by Design
In addition to monthly networking and programming events, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce hosts several special events throughout the year including, The Event, the Small Business Luncheon and Showcase and the Annual Meeting Luncheon. These events offer the opportunity for all members (sole proprietors to large corporate investors) to come together and interact with one another.
Annual Meeting Luncheon
Our Annual Meeting Luncheon takes place each January and includes the installation of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, presentation of our annual Public Policy agenda, and the state of the town address from the Town of Amherst’s Supervisor.
Small Business Luncheon
The Small Business Luncheon and Showcase takes place each May and includes two parts. The Small Business Showcase takes place prior to the awards luncheon and provides a great way to explore the products and services of over 40 unique businesses from a variety of industries. The Small Business Luncheon acknowledges several small businesses each year for their commitment to the Amherst area.
Celebrating Business Excellence is our signature event, recognizing the accomplishments of firms, organizations, and individuals from all corners of Western New York. This annual event takes place each October and welcomes over 400 of the region’s business professionals. Award categories include (but are not limited to): Business of the Year, Commitment to Excellence, Woman of Distinction, Community Service, Innovation and Entrepreneur.
